Low Sugar Drinks for Kids
The temptation of sugary drinks are everywhere, and kids crave them! From chocolate milk to juice boxes, there are so many sugary beverages marketed directly to children at every turn. We often think we’re giving kids a healthier option by not simply letting them drink soda, however even too much fruit juice is not always the best alternative.
Too much sugar in your diet has a very negative impact on health. When we condition children to enjoy sugar regularly, they become dependent on the burst of energy they get - and all of that extra energy is stored as fat. It’s important to set a good example for kids at a young age so that they can develop good habits in adulthood.
Start creating healthier habits with your kids by making these delicious low sugar and sugar-free drinks that kids will love!
