Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c

  unsalted butter

• 3/4 c

  sugar

• 1

  egg

• 1 tsp

  vanilla extract

• 2 1/4 c

  all-purpose flour, sifted

• 1/2 tsp

  baking powder

• 2 tsp

  True Lemon

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
2. Cream butter, sugar, and egg until fluffy. Add vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder, and True Lemon together and stir into creamed mixture.
3. Fill the cookie press with the mixture, and form cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet.
4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned at the edges. Remove from cookie sheet and let cool on racks.
