Ingredients
- 1
scoop chocolate protein powder
- 2 tbsp
cocoa powder
- 1
packet turbinado sugar (or other sweetener of choice)
- 1/4 c
almond milk (or other milk of choice)
- 1 c
ice
- 2
unsweetened mandarin oranges (preferably frozen)
- 2 oz
frozen banana slices
- 1/8 tsp
guar gum (optional – it makes the smoothie consistency more like ice cream)
Directions
- In small bowl or cup, mix protein powder, cocoa powder, sugar, True Orange Mango Orange, and True Orange to blend.
- Blend dry ingredients above with ice and milk until well blended.
- Add in guar gum if using, then add in frozen mandarin oranges and bananas until desired consistency.
- Pour into glass and garnish with frozen mango and orange slice if desired, or scoop into bowl and freeze for 10 minutes, then eat with a spoon!
