Diane Henderiks' Creamy Sundried Tomato Spread

A rich but healthy spread for crackers or raw vegetables.

Ingredients
- 1/4 c
sun-dried tomatoes, blanched and drained.
- 8 oz
low-fat cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1/2 c
finely chopped walnuts
- 1/3 c
dry white wine
- 2
cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp
- 1 tsp
hot pepper flakes
- 3/4 tsp
salt
- 3/4 tsp
freshly ground black pepper
- 1/3 c
fresh basil, finely chopped
Crackers, crostini, or fresh sliced vegetables for serving
Directions
- In a food processor combine first 6 ingredients ( sundried tomatoes through True Lemon), Then process until well-blended.
- Add mixture to a large bowl and stir in hot spice, salt, pepper, and basil.
- Chill for about 1 hour.
- Serve with crackers, crostini, and/or raw veggies. Enjoy!
