Soft, light, buttery cookies with a burst of citrus flavor. Perfect to be served with a cup of warm and comforting tea.

Ingredients
- 1.25 c
All-purpose flour
- 1/2 c
Cornstarch
- 3/4 c
Butter, softened
- 1/3 c
Confectioners' sugar
- 6
Packets of True Lemon
- 3 tbsp
Water
- 1 c
Confectioners' sugar for the glaze
- 1
Packet of True Lemon for the glaze
- 1
Packet of True Lime for the glaze
- 1 tbsp
Milk
- 1 tbsp
Water
Directions
- For the cookies, in a small bowl, combine flour and cornstarch, mix and set aside.
- In large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Gradually add the flour-cornstarch mixture to the butter and sugar mixture, blending until smooth.
- Add water and True Lemon and blend to a smooth consistency.
- Divide dough in half and shape into two rolls on wax paper. Wrap tightly in wax paper and chill three hours.
- Slice dough into 1/4-inch slices and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees or until cookies are set (cookies will not brown).
- Remove from cookie sheet and let cool completely on baking rack.
- For the glaze, when cookies have cooled, whisk sugar with water, True Lemon, and True Lime.
- Slowly add milk and whisk for drizzling consistency.
- Drizzle cookies lightly with glaze. Allow glaze to set 45 minutes. Enjoy!
