Ingredients

  • 4

    potatoes cut in 1inch size

  • 2

    garlic bulbs, cut in half

  • 2

    onions halved, and skin removed

  • 2

    cobs of corn

  • 1 lb

    crab legs

  • 1/2 lb

    shrimp (optional)

  • 2

    hot links (optional)

  • 3

    bay leaves

  • 2 c

    CRAB BOIL (that's what it's called, but you can use whichever one you want)

Directions

  1. Fill a stock pot 3/4 of the way with water and add in all of ingredients EXCEPT the proteins (shrimp, crab, sausage).
  2. Let all of these come to a boil, and allow that boil to go for 10 min.
  3. After the 10 min add in the sausage and the crab, cover with a lid and turn off the heat.
  4. Let that sit for 10 min.
  5. Add in shrimp and allow to sit for 5 more min.
  6. By this time everything should be cooked perfectly and filled with goodness. Drain the liquid, and remove onions and garlic (sometimes I just eat the onions, they are so good).
  7. Place in a large bowl and top with old bay and true citrus lemon. This combination will give you a lemony zing that adds to your crab.
  8. Get a bib and enjoy.
