This is a great egg spread on top of toast, or served as a dip with crackers. It tastes even better after being refrigerated overnight.

Ingredients

  • 6

    hard-boiled eggs, quartered

  • 1/3 c

    mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp

    balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tsp

    Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp

    Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 tsp

    salt

  • Dash of pepper

  • Dash of hot sauce

  • Fresh chopped chives, as garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. Place eggs into a large bowl, and mash together with a fork.
  2. In a separate small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and mix until smooth.
  3. Add dressing mixture to eggs, and mix to combine.
  4. Serve on top of toast, or with gluten-free crackers. Garnish with fresh chives.

Recipe Notes

To make the perfect hard-boiled eggs, place eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Cover pot with lid, and bring water to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, turn off the heat, and set a timer for 10-minutes. Let the eggs sit during that time, then remove eggs from the pot and place into a bowl of ice water. The ice water will shock the eggs and make them easier to peel!
