Ingredients
- 1 lb
lump crab meat, fresh or canned
- 1 c
bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp
dried parsley (or 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley)
- 1
egg
- 1 tbsp
mayonnaise
- 1 tsp
brown mustard
1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning (depending on how spicy you want it)
Directions
- In a bowl gently combine crab meat, bread crumbs, and parsley.
- In a separate bowl, mix egg with the remaining ingredients.
- Carefully combine the two bowls and blend together so that the mixture can be packed into crab cakes. Try not to break-up the crab meat too much when mixing.
- Broil the crab cakes for 10-minutes on each side, or fry in oil on the stove for about 5-minutes each side.
