These zesty shrimp are perfect to eat alone, tossed with veggies, or over a bed of rice. This recipe serves 6.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c

    plus 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1 tbsp

    True Lime, Garlic & Cilantro spice blend

  • 1/2 tsp

    red pepper flakes

  • 2 lb

    shrimp, peeled and deveined


  • 1/2 tsp

    salt

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine 1/4 cup vegetable oil, True Lime, Garlic & Cilantro spice blend, and red pepper flakes. Add shrimp then cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  2. Remove shrimp from marinade; discard marinade. Season shrimp with salt, and additional True Lime, Garlic & Cilantro and/or red pepper flakes.
  3. In a saute pan over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil and saute the shrimp. Cook 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until just cooked through.
  4. Remove from heat, and serve with a side of steamed vegetables and rice. Enjoy!
