True Citrus has partnered with Feeding America to help fight hunger and food insecurity by donating over 1.2 million meals per year.
It’s an unfortunate truth that 1 in 9 Americans are living with food insecurity, and do not always know where their next meal is coming from. Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, makes it their mission to engage our country in the fight to end hunger and feed America’s hungry through a nationwide network of member foodbank.
It’s important to keep in mind that hunger is not relegated to the unemployed. 36% of client households served by the Feeding America network have one or more adults who are working. Educated people struggle with issues of hunger and food insecurity, too. In fact, the 2010 Hunger Study showed that 23% of respondents had graduated from or had attended a college or technical school of some kind.
The Feeding America and True Citrus partnership was formed in 2014 and still continues to make a difference today. Your product codes will still be valid, even if you purchased a box that has an earlier program date. We’ve delivered over 6 million meals together so far, and you can help deliver 1 million more. Feeding America is the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization. Their mission is to feed America’s hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage our country in the fight to end hunger.
The Feeding America network of 200 member food banks has created a foundation geared towards getting wholesome staples to the 40 million people they serve each year. Feeding America supplies almost 4 billion pounds of food and grocery products annually.

1 in 6 Americans, or 47,000,000, suffer from food insecurity (sometimes or often having to go hungry, eat less or eat less nutritious meals because the family can’t afford otherwise).
